Balance Patch Notes
This patch dials back the mobility on a few champions. Let’s dive in:
Elaine (Panther)
- Spear range reduced from 8.5 → 7 (now in line with other thrust spears)
- Cooldown increased from 3s → 4s
- Why: Elaine’s identity is closing the gap from stealth, and we want to keep that. But her spear range and cooldown were stacking extra mobility on top of an already mobile kit. This will hit her DPS, so we’ll keep an eye on her other weapons and adjust if needed.
Nix (Fox)
- Active cooldown increased from 2.5s → 2.9s
- Base speed increased from 4.7 → 5.2
- Why: Nix should stay mobile, but her dash was the best in the game by a wide margin — short cooldown plus great shot-dodging. We’re trading a bit of dash uptime for a stronger baseline.
Molly (Kangaroo)
- Active cooldown increased from 3s → 5s
- Why: Same direction as Nix. Molly is on the weaker side overall, so a damage buff is coming in an upcoming patch.
Fuzzy (Penguin)
- Active cooldown increased from 1.5s → up to 4s (scales with time spent in active)
- Why: Fuzzy’s active is part of what makes him unique, and we want to keep that. But right now it has no real counter. Instead of touching the speed buff, we’re extending his vulnerability window when the active ends — giving opponents a real opening to punish him.
