Something just crawled out of the deepest, darkest corner of the ocean, and it has opinions. 👀
Meet Stella, the newest character to join the Zooba arena. Nobody woke her up. Nobody invited her. She rose from the deep entirely on her own, because somebody up here had the nerve to call her a fish, and she followed that insult all the way to the surface.
Let’s get the big thing out of the way first: she is not a fish. No bones, no gills, five arms, and a problem with you specifically. She is a sea star. Her name literally means “star.” Please keep that in mind, for your own safety. ⭐
🌊 Who is Stella?
Stella has been frowning since before you were born. Down in the caverns, where light doesn’t reach and patience runs thin, she ruled her corner of the dark with five arms and a temper shorter than any of them. She never needed company. She never needed sunlight. She just needed everyone to stop getting it wrong.
And she never needed friends either, because she came with a built-in crew. Each of her five arms has a face, a temper, and a personal grudge. They don’t follow orders, and honestly, they don’t have to. They’re her, just smaller, and somehow even angrier. 😤
The rest of the zoo is already feeling her presence. Finn keeps calling her “little starfish” like it’s cute, and she keeps showing him what five arms can do at close range. Steve looks at her and sees a snack, while she looks at him and sees a fish with wings and an ego. And then there’s Wanda. The orca has never once been called a fish without wanting to flip a table, and Stella understands that on a molecular level. The two of them don’t talk much, but when someone gets it wrong around both of them, they handle it together. Quietly. Efficiently. 🐋
⚔️ How she plays
Stella’s kit is called What Does Not Kill You Makes You EVEN Stronger, and that name is a promise.
Her passive turns every hit against her into a counterattack. Each time she takes damage, one of her minions pops out and goes straight after the aggressor. The more minions she has out on the field, the harder she hits, so a Stella who has been through some things is a Stella you should genuinely worry about. There’s a catch, though: her minions share her health bar, so any damage they take, she feels too.
Her active ability calls the whole crew back home, and every minion that returns heals her on arrival. Use her primal ability while at full HP and the heal converts into a shield instead, letting her turn a safe moment into a head start on the next fight. 🛡️
Playing Stella well means living with a delicious trade-off. Sending the crew out means more damage but also more ways to get hurt, and pulling everyone back means safety at the cost of pressure. High risk, high reward, and entirely in your hands. She wouldn’t want it any other way.
🎟️ How to unlock her
The easiest way is the Battle Pass. Subscribers with an active pass unlock Stella automatically on launch day, at no extra cost.
Not a subscriber? You still have options. Our community is running giveaways over on the official Zooba Discord, so come hang out and try your luck. And once her Early Access period ends, Stella will also become available in chests. 🎁
Stella is live now. Drop into the arena, meet the crew, and whatever you do, don’t call her a fish. 🐠❌
