Recent Balance Changes

A new wave of balance changes is here! This time, we’re making adjustments to 11 characters, refining their abilities and tweaking their stats to ensure an even more competitive and exciting gameplay experience. Let’s dive into the changes:

Pepper gets a boost!:

  • Bomb: Range increased from 13 to 16.
  • Bow: Cooldown reduced from 4s to 2.5s.
  • Grass View Range: Expanded from 13 to 16.

Nico’s bite is getting adjusted and we’re scaling his damage and health to better balance his abilities:

  • Health: Reduced from 1550 to 1350.
  • Bomb:
    • Range decreased from 12 to 10.
    • Damage reduced from 400 to 360.
  • Spear: Damage reduced from 350 to 280.
  • Active Ability:
    • Poison damage per tick reduced from 60 to 25.
    • Damage per bite decreased from 450 to 200.
  • Passive Ability: Speed boost reduced from +90% to +80%.

Tony is getting some upgrades, making him stronger in battle:

  • Bow Rapid Fire:
    • Duration increased from 0.2s to 0.4s.
    • Number of arrows increased from 4 to 8.
    • Knockback increased from 3 to 5.
    • Cooldown increased from 2 seconds to 4 seconds.
  • Spear: Range increased from 10 to 12.
  • Health: Increased from 1400 to 1500.
  • Active Ability: Gigi’s speed increased from 5.6 to 10.
  • Primal Ability: Speed boost increased from +20% to +40%.

Rocky is taking a bit of a stepback, with adjustments to his weapons and cooldowns:

  • Bomb:
    • Cooldown increased from 3 seconds to 4.25 seconds.
    • Damage reduced from 450 to 375.
    • Knockback increased from 25 to 40.
  • Shotgun:
    • Damage decreased from 550 to 450.
    • Cooldown increased from 3 seconds to 5.25 seconds.
  • Spear:
    • Range reduced from 10 to 8.
    • Cooldown increased from 3 seconds to 5 seconds.
    • Damage reduced from 400 to 350.
  • Health: Reduced from 1700 to 1600.

Fuzzy is getting a small boost to his weapons for a sharper edge:

  • Bomb: Knockback increased from 25 to 32.
  • Spear: Projectile base speed increased from 30 to 40.

Phil’s abilities are being toned down slightly to better balance his playstyle:

  • Primal Ability: Insta-kill health threshold reduced from 40% to 30%.
  • Active Ability: Damage decreased from 350 to 180.
  • Arrow Rain:
    • Damage decreased from 95 to 85.
    • Cooldown increased from 3.5 seconds to 5 seconds.
  • Shotgun: Angle increased from 30 to 45.

Elaine is getting a small but impactful set of buffs to make her even more dynamic:

  • Shotgun: Range increased from 6 to 7.5.
  • Spear:
    • Damage increased from 350 to 375.
    • Thrust speed increased from 24 to 36.
  • Health: Increased from 1350 to 1450.
  • Active Ability: Jump duration reduced from 0.6s to 0.4s.

Joy’s passive ability is being adjusted:

  • Passive Ability: Critical damage multiplier reduced from x150% to x130%.

Paolo’s utility and damage potential are being boosted:

  • Bomb: Roll base speed increased from 7 to 9.
  • Active Ability:
    • Knockback increased from 20 to 40.
    • Damage increased from 110 to 280.

Paco’s active ability is being scaled down slightly for better balance: 

  • Active Ability:
    • Range reduced from 15 to 12.
    • Cooldown increased from 3 seconds to 4.5 seconds.

Nina is receiving a set of buffs to enhance her survivability and utility:

  • Spartan Spear:
    • Damage increased from 150 to 170.
    • Number of waves increased by 17%.
  • Health: Increased from 1350 to 1500.

Clan Wars Update

We’re taking a short break before the next Clan Wars Campaign so all Zoobsters can focus on the holiday season event! But don’t worry, Clan Wars will still happen on their usual schedule with rewards for the top 3 clans and exclusive holiday emojis.

Please note that these Wars won’t reward Fame, but the 3rd Clan Wars Campaign will return in January, bringing back season rewards, fame, and more exciting features to kick off the new year.
