Hey challengers!

 

Tennis Clash is progressing, and we’re always looking for ways to improve the game. This time, we are doing some balance changes for some characters in order to better define their playstyle and make them more unique.

 

The broad changes are:

  • New Long-catch and Quick-catch character bonus: Some characters will respond with better strokes whenever they trigger the corresponding string effect. Be sure to use strings with the Long-catch and Quick-catch effects to get the most of these characters!
    • Long catch: Mei-Li, Viktoria and Kaito
    • Quick catch: Diana and Omar
  • Small attributes buffs and nerfs to better reinforce the characters’ archetypes while also differentiating them a little more, and bringing some characters to a more healthy competitive level

  • Luc and Mei-Li changed their unlock tour to be available earlier in the progression

 

Here are the specifics for each character:

 

Luc:

  • Unlocks at tour 4 now
  • Switched to Backhand as the main stroke

 

Mei-Li:

  • Unlocks at tour 5 now
  • Long-catch precision bonus

 

Viktoria:

  • Long-catch precision bonus

 

Hyun-jun:

  • Switched to Backhand as the main stroke.
  • Small nerf to the Backhand stroke

 

Kaito:

  • Long-catch precision bonus
  • Small Forehand buff

 

Abeke:

  • Forehand and Backhand nerf

 

Leo:

  • Switched to Backhand as the main stroke

 

Diana:

  • Small buff to Forehand and Backhand
  • Big Volley buff
  • Quick-catch precision bonus

 

Omar:

  • Volley buff
  • Quick-catch precision bonus

 

Anton:

  • Forehand, Backhand and Agility nerf
  • Signature move nerf – lower power in levels 4 and 5

 

Florence

  • Small Forehand buff
